Spirit Quilts is run by a group of friends united by the cause of helping others in need.

JayaMae Gregory, Founder and CEO

JayaMae Gregory is currently working towards two degrees: a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and a Registered Nursing license. She is also completing a minor in Religious Studies. JayaMae is a published poet, an accomplished equestrian rider, an actress, and of course, a quilter. She lobbies for Human Rights and Equality, is a huge supporter of natural childbirth and breastfeeding, and is a member of the Father’s Rights Movement. JayaMae is a proud wife and mother.

Gary Gregory, CFO

With over 15 years of sales and management experience, Gary Gregory brings a wealth of knowledge to Spirit Quilts that will be sure to enhance its vision for the future. Currently, Gary heads a freelance business called Website Marketing Strategies, which markets internet products and services online using social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and StumbleUpon. Gary is also a talented artist and helped to create the Spirit Quilts logo. He is an avid fisherman and loves baseball and football. He is father to four boys.

Marianne Davis, PR

Marianne, a professional actress, also runs her own business specializing in Children's Party Entertainment. As a volunteer and teacher's assistant, she has worked with children of many different needs through performance and art therapy and is thrilled to continue making a difference through her involvement with Spirit Quilts. Marianne enjoys poetry, yoga, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her Godchildren.

Meet Our MVQ!

Our MVQ (Most Valuable Quilter) is Shirley Jinks. Shirley began volunteering for Spirit Quilts when the organization first began. She has worked tirelessly, producing literally hundreds of quilts for us. She has donated fabric and has made her long arm quilter available to the organization on many occasions. Thank you, Shirley!

About Shirley

Shirley Jinks lives in Paradise, CA with her husband nad granddaughter. She is a member of the Ridge Quilters Guild and Participates in community outreach. She is an animal lover as well as a lover of people. She has six grandchildren and one great grandchild! She attends Discover the Rock Church, where she allso volunteers. Shirley says:
